It’s a New Year
I think all of us are probably looking forward to 2021 after an eventful 2020. 2020 brought us to the realization of how fragile we are as a species and that a quiet, normal, calm existence looks rather good right now.
Looking back, when the pandemic ramped up in March & April, I thought our business was going to be in deep trouble. I was concerned with all of us living through it and the business surviving. Green Glen Nursery is proud to offer customers an even better experience at their brand new wholesale facility, which is located on the Elwood nursery property. The old wholesale facility was previously located about five miles north on the retail garden center property in Joliet on Laraway Road.

Back to Our Roots as an Illinois Wholesale Nursery
After 40 years in business proudly serving the public, we made the decision to close our retail operation at the end of 2017 and get back to our roots, focusing our efforts solely on wholesale operations. In the Spring of 2018, we moved our wholesale nursery office to a brand new facility right on our nursery property in Elwood, Illinois.
